The huge piles of snow are starting to disappear from the grounds of the museum. We’ve noticed deer grazing on the newly uncovered green fuzz by the caboose. We’re having the buck fences replaced, so some are down and some are still up. Lots to be done before we re-open on Memorial Day weekend.
On Wednesday, May 21st, a group of students from Laramie’s Whiting High School will be coming out to help us get the place in shape for the season. This will be the third year they’ve joined us and we look forward to that day every year. We can’t thank them enough.
Planning is already underway for this year’s 34th annual Centennial Art Show & Sale, to be held July 5th and 6th in the barn. If you’d like to enter your art work in the show, you can find the registration form by clicking here. Twenty percent of the proceeds benefit the museum.
