Centennial Community Day

Centennial Community Day 2012

In August several local organizations come together for a celebration of what makes Centennial a true community. The day can include a book sale to benefit the local library, a pie sale to benefit the local women’s service group, a barbeque to benefit the local elementary school, and a BYOT (Bring Your Own Table) garage sale.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 16th, 2014. The Family Artifacts Sale, aka garage sale, will be held from 9 AM to 1 PM. The Centennial Social Club will hold their pie sale from 10 AM to 1 PM or until the pie runs out. They’ll be selling both whole pies and slices. Unfortunately, no group has come forward to organize a barbeque, but our restaurants will all be open, including the Trading Post’s BBQ in the Park, the Beartree Dog hot dog stand, the café at the Friendly Store, and The Old Corral. Come enjoy a day in our community!

If you’d like to have a table at the BYOT garage sale, just contact us. The fee is $5 per table and you keep the proceeds from your sales.
